Oceano Elementary School Facia and Awning Repair, Oceano, CA

Project was a contract for the Lucia Mar Unified School District to remove and replace existing fascia and awing decking at three separate buildings. Scope of work included remove and replace existing wood fascia, remove and place 1”X6” diagonal awing decking, remove and replace any substrate i.e. wood blocking, 3”X4” wood rafters, trim etc. that was rotten or damaged or in capable of holding a nail, at the East and West side of Bldgs. install Tyvek wrap, install sheet metal Z flashing between new fascia Hardietrim boards and stucco wall, remove any rust and/or loose paint off existing steel beams, epoxy primer beams, prime wood members, and install two coats of finish paint at all steel beams, wood facia, and awing decking locations. Due to the amount of water damage over the years at various locations wood sub-framing members had to be replaced.
